Privacy Policy

We are a small team and this policy is short on purpose. It only covers this website (edetech.ai). Privacy practices for our products (NexusAI, Atlas, OpenFlux and OpenFlux Router) are documented separately in product documentation.

1. Who we are

EDE AI Tech is the operator of edetech.ai. Our team works from hubs in Canada and China.

For any privacy question, write to hello@edetech.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days.

2. What we store on your device

When you use this website we may use the following items in your browser. You can review the same list and turn optional categories on or off via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of any page.

  • ede-ai-lang — the language you selected. Strictly necessary. Persists until you clear your browser data.
  • ede-ai-consent — a record of which cookie categories you allowed, when, and against which version of this policy. Strictly necessary. Persists for 12 months, after which we ask again.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — only if you opt in to the Analytics category. They are not loaded otherwise.

3. Cookies and tracking

We group everything we may run into two categories. On your first visit we ask which ones you allow. Optional categories are off by default and never run unless you opt in. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. Your language preference and your consent record. Cannot be disabled.

Analytics — if you opt in, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC, US) to count page views and understand which products people care about so we can improve them. We use IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode v2; the analytics tag does not load unless you opt in. No advertising, no individual targeting, no linking with your form submissions.

We do not run advertising or marketing pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight) on this site at this time. If we add any in the future we will introduce a new "Marketing" category, ask for your consent again, and update the effective date of this policy.

4. Demo and contact forms

When you submit a demo request or contact form, we collect: your name, business email, company, country, the products you marked as interesting, and your free-text message.

We use this only to reply to you and evaluate fit for our products. We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not share these submissions with anyone other than the team members handling your inquiry.

To deliver the form to our inbox, the payload is transmitted through Web3Forms (operated by Statichunt PVT LTD, India) acting as our processor. Web3Forms forwards the message and may retain a short-lived copy in our account dashboard for delivery diagnostics, then deletes it. They are contractually bound not to use your data for any other purpose.

We keep these submissions for 24 months from the last interaction, then delete them. You can ask us to delete sooner — see "Your rights" below.

5. Server logs

Our web server records standard access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, browser identifier). We use these only for security, abuse prevention, capacity planning and debugging.

Access logs are deleted after 30 days. We do not cross-reference logs with form submissions to build profiles.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or analytics.

We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly needed to run the website — server hosting and email delivery — under contractual confidentiality.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, Canada, California, or any other jurisdiction with privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local privacy authority

8. International transfers

Our servers are hosted in Europe. Our team reviews form submissions from Canada and China. If you are located outside these regions, your data crosses borders to our servers and our team under standard contractual clauses appropriate to your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes to how we process data — for example if we add a new third-party tool or a new cookie category — we update this page, bump the effective date above, and bump the consent policy version. When the consent version changes we ask you again so your previous choice is not silently extended to the new processing.
